Day 1 — Discovery call (30 minutes)
We get on a video call. You walk us through your business — what you sell, what you charge, what customers ask most, where you serve, your hours, what makes you different. We record it. That's the training data.
What we ask:
- Your services and pricing (rough ranges are fine — exact pricing later)
- Your hours and service areas
- The top 10 questions customers ask
- What kind of leads you want to capture (just contact info? appointment time? job description?)
- Your brand voice — formal? casual? technical?
- What you DON'T want the bot to do (e.g., never quote final prices, never schedule on calendar)
Days 2-5 — Training and build
This is where we earn the fee. We:
- Write the system prompt — the foundation that tells Claude exactly who it is, what it knows, and how it behaves
- Train it on your business — services, pricing, hours, FAQs, brand voice
- Build the lead-capture flow — when to ask for contact info, what to capture, how to format the email to you
- Design the chat widget — matches your site's colors, fonts, and personality
- Set up the email pipeline — leads route to your email instantly with full conversation context
- Test against edge cases — angry customers, off-topic questions, attempted prompt injection
Day 6 — Preview and approval
You get a private preview link. You can test the bot, ask it edge-case questions, see what it gets right and wrong, and tell us what to adjust. Most clients need 1-2 rounds of tweaks before approval.
Day 7 — Install on your site
One JavaScript snippet drops into your site's footer (or we install it if you give us access). Works on:
- WordPress (any theme, any builder)
- Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, Shopify, Duda
- Custom HTML/PHP sites
- Static sites (Hugo, Jekyll, Astro)
- React/Next.js/Vue (we'll give you a component if you prefer)
The bot is live. Visitors can use it immediately. Leads start coming to your inbox.
Week 2+ — Iterate based on real conversations
We review every conversation the bot has during the first 2 weeks. We identify:
- Questions it didn't answer well
- Information visitors keep asking about that we didn't train it on
- Conversion patterns (where do leads happen? where do visitors drop off?)
- Tone adjustments (too formal? too pushy? too vague?)
Then we re-train. Pro tier clients get this every 2 weeks for the life of the subscription. Starter tier gets a quarterly tune-up.
The technology underneath
YelloPost AI is built on Anthropic's Claude — the same large language model that powers ChatGPT competitors and the AI assistants used by major enterprises. We use the Claude API with:
- Prompt caching — your business knowledge is cached so responses are fast and cheap
- Server-side proxying — your visitors never see API keys, never touch Anthropic directly
- Conversation memory — bot remembers the last 12 messages of context per visitor
- Lead extraction — bot quietly captures name/phone/email in JSON the visitor never sees, sends to you via email
- Multi-layer spam filtering — Cloudflare WAF + IP geo-fence + content filters block 99%+ of automated spam before it reaches Claude
Your data, your control
You own the conversation data. Claude doesn't train on your visitors' messages (per Anthropic's commercial API policy). We don't sell or share your customer information. You can request full deletion of training data and conversation logs at any time.
