The challenge
Nevada Leak Detection is a one-truck operation. Matt Henderson, the owner, personally answers (702) 682-1626 during business hours (Mon-Fri 8am-6pm Pacific). But Vegas is a 24/7 town — water emergencies don't wait for office hours, and a competitor who answers at 9 PM beats one who calls back at 9 AM.
The web team had just shipped a massive local-SEO buildout — 600+ pages covering 18 services × 26 neighborhoods. Traffic was about to spike. Every after-hours visitor that bounced was a lost lead.
What we built
"Drip" — a water-themed YelloPost AI chatbot trained on:
- All 18 services with pricing ranges ($350-$600 for slab leak detection, etc.)
- All 26 Vegas valley neighborhoods Matt serves
- All 23 ZIP codes covered
- Common leak detection scenarios (slab leaks, pool leaks, water mains)
- License #, hours, address, emergency protocols
- Matt's voice — direct, honest, no-pressure
Lead capture flow
When a visitor gives Drip a name and phone or email, the bot:
- Acknowledges and confirms next steps
- Emits a hidden
[LEAD] block in the response (invisible to the visitor)
- Our server strips the block before display, then routes the lead to two emails:
- To Matt: full conversation summary, name, phone, email, location, project description, Drip's pricing estimate, with one-click "Call Now" + "Email Reply" buttons
- To the prospect: branded auto-reply confirming they'll get a callback within 30 minutes during business hours, with active-leak emergency instructions
- Continues the conversation — answering follow-up questions while the lead notification is already on its way
Brand integration
Drip's widget matches Nevada Leak Detection's brand exactly:
- Navy blue (#0F1F3B) header with orange (#E66B2C) accent
- Water-drop icon (💧) in the widget button
- Custom name "Drip" instead of generic "Chatbot"
- Tag line: "Nevada Leak Detection AI"
- Live business-hours indicator (green dot when open, orange when after-hours)
- Floating button bottom-right, opens to a 370×580px chat window
Lead email branding
Every lead notification email is branded with both:
- YelloPost yellow header band — so Matt knows the lead came from his website pipeline
- Nevada Leak Detection navy/orange brand band — so it looks professional in his inbox
Prospect auto-replies are pure Nevada Leak Detection branding (no YelloPost references) — the customer never knows there's a YelloPost product in the loop.
What Drip handles automatically
- Pricing questions: "How much is slab leak detection?" → "$350-$600 depending on complexity. Phone consultations are free."
- Service area: "Do you serve Henderson?" → "Yes, Henderson is one of our biggest service areas. Common 89052 and 89074 ZIPs."
- Emergencies: "I have water flooding my kitchen right now" → immediate phone CTA + shutoff instructions, lead flagged URGENT
- Hours: "Are you open Sunday?" → "We're closed Sundays but emergencies are answered 24/7. Call (702) 682-1626 if it's urgent."
- What makes you different: Drip explains Matt is owner-operated, licensed C1D #85162, does both detection AND repair (most competitors don't), has 5.0 stars on Google and Yelp.
What it stays away from
Per Matt's instructions, Drip:
- Never quotes a final, binding price — only ranges
- Never books appointments directly (always defers to Matt's callback)
- Never diagnoses a leak remotely (always recommends a site visit)
- Never makes legal/insurance claims (always defers to Matt's documentation)
